Another doll pic, because I like it. So deal. I'll post some pictures of the apartment soon. Because, you know, those are so interesting.
The crazy-haired guy on the left (yes, it's a guy) is Cyr. He's batshit crazy, but try not to hold it against him. It's not his fault...except, well, that it . . . (

The "To Edit" file for Heretics is almost under 100 pages. Finally.
With the exception of a few scenes I need to add to fix plot/continuity errors, the file should continue to decrease at a steady pace.
P.S. The "Final Draft" file stands at 137. You care. I know. . . . (

For the first time since I started editing Heretics, the "To Edit" file has dipped below the 148 pages it was at when I started. The Final Draft file stands at 95 pages.
My novel seems to have just gained its own novel.

A math problem:
Angela has two files saved to her desktop. The first file, called "To Edit" contains the portions of a novel she has to edit into final draft form. The second file is called "Final" and contains all of the edited information. When a portion of text is . . . (

Heretics, my novella from NaNo 2006 is next for my editorial chopping block. Fixing it won't require nearly as much work as Mystic Nation, thank God. (It also offers my far less chance to butcher it the way I accidentally butchered Mystic Nation's opening chapters during the editorial pr . . . (

...mini-chapter four of "Relic" will clock in at a staggering 64 words from beginning to end.
Now, if I can only complete parts three and five, I'll have a viable short story under my belt.
15,000 words *is* still short, right? . . . (

I was a substantial way through finishing the third part of "Relic," a Mystic Nation-verse short story I've been working on for almost 10 years (no joke), when the file went haywire. Ctrl+Z (also known as The Author's Lifeline ) did nothing to rectify the situation. I closed out the file, as I . . . (

Going to have to do one last overhaul of the existing chapters of Mystic Nation. I've decided to switch the gender of one of the periphery characters, and the addition of a new plot point that that pesky 13th chapter has caused me to need to rework a few later happenings as well. Most surprising is . . . (

It's finally finished. It's not good. Or edited. But it's finished.
Now, to reread all 27 chapters (again) to make sure I have the plot straightened out so that the ending will make sense. Which is going to involve reworking my outline for the final few chapters.
But the en . . . (

Here we are again at that time of the month when I promised myself I would post a monthly tracker of what I have managed to accomplish on my writings. However, due to World of Warcraft rearing its uglyt head and eating my life, I have absolutely nothing of merit to post here.
Instead, here is a lis . . . (
